Considered one of the world’s best nature illustrators, Alessandro De Maddalena has produced over 1,000 illustrations of marine animals. His illustrations have appeared in over 100 publications, including books, scientific journals, popular and professional magazines. He has had illustrations on exhibit at the Oceanographic Museum in Monaco, the World Underwater Picture Festival in Antibes – Juan-Les-Pins, France, Nausicaä Aquarium in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, the Aquarium of Milan, Italy, the Museum of Marine Biology in Porto Cesareo, Italy, and the Whale Shark Museum in Talisayan, Philippines.
